With increasing numbers of pets going missing each year, Kingsteignton Veterinary Group are pleased to support the fifth annual National Microchipping Month during the month of June 2008.

National Microchipping Month is organised by the Kennel Club to promote the country’s leading pet reunification service, Petlog. Petlog has a database of over 3.5 million animals and provides round the clock assistance to fraught owners. The aim of national Microchipping month is to raise awareness among pet owners about how simple and effective microchipping is, and about how by providing this quick and painless permanent method of identification owners are reunited with their pets at the earliest opportunity.

In support of Microchipping Month, Kingsteignton Veterinary Group will be providing people with information on microchipping that will include the importance and benefits of microchipping, and also making appointments for your pet to be chipped.
